What can I expect during an urgent care appointment?

Your provider asks about your acute health concerns, reviews your medical and gynecological history, and performs a physical exam. They may also order diagnostic tests such as blood work, urinalysis, or an ultrasound test.

Who do I follow up with after urgent care?

Urgent care isn’t a replacement for your regular OB/GYN or primary care doctor. The onsite healthcare team can talk to you about follow-up care and who you should see. The practitioners may make a referral to an outside specialist when appropriate.
